So when i picked up "Unearthly" I was thinking: "Another young adult angel book...Should I or shouldn't I?" Now that I have read it I cannot wait until the next book due out in the series!
"Unearthly" follows Clara Gardener who is a quarter angel or an "Angel Blood". Clara has known all her life what she is and has waited for her "Purpose", a vision which allows her to complete her lifes purpose, to arrive for months. When the vision finally occurs it mean the family has to move to Jackson where she meets Christian.
Cynthia Hand has has definitely set herself apart from other YA debut authors by mixing just the right amounts of love, suspense and surprise throught the book. I loved loved this book and cannot wait for the second installment "Hallowed" to come out in January 2012. As much as I love reading series i am so over waiting for the next installment of books!! Oh well I am sure it will be well worth the wait.
